Emerging now as an artist with a global and universal perspective, Ianne is the creator of an inspirational and multi-faceted project entitled FOREVER DOOR. Created as an expression of her commitment to the future of children and our planet, this consciousness raising work is one to which she is passionately committed.
Other interests include a continuing interest in spirituality, new thought, and personal development. She is presently influenced by the teachings and contributions of individuals like, Eckhart Tolle, Ken Wilber, and William McDonough. Ianne lives in Los Angeles, close to her daughter Kristen. For this and many other blessings, she is grateful.
Ianne Lavigne was born and raised in Methuen, Massachusetts in a devout Catholic home with traditional family values. The eldest of four, she loved art, nature, her sisters and brothers, and children from the very beginning!
Her education and diverse life experience includes a B.S. in Art Education from Massachusetts College of Art, graduate studies in Humanistic Education and Humanistic Psychology, and 17 years of teaching experience. Also the development of her talents as a fine artist, the study and practice of astrology and the healing arts, producing an award winning children’s theatre, and world
wide travel.
